It's one thing to recognize your infrastructure needs some updating, and it's an even different challenge to set up robust Wi-Fi in Mexico, where even finding a reliable Internet provider can admittedly be an enormous obstacle. So when Colegio Cristóbal Colón (CCC), a PreK-12 school located just outside of Mexico City, wanted to implement campus-wide Wi-Fi, it turned to Aerohive to not only provide reliable infrastructure, but also enable enterprise features to help manage its mobile technology goals.
Now the CCC campus, part of a global network of La Salle schools all around the world, can boast having one of the largest WLANs north of Mexico City and is considered a leading use case among its sister schools. CCC is using features like Bonjour Gateway to manage Apple devices and band steering to maximize throughput.
